Deer Canyon Preserve is a conservation easement project located two miles south of Mountainair, New Mexico at the base of the 10,000-foot-plus Manzano mountain range. If you're looking for the perfect place to slow down, Deer Canyon Preserve is the place! The unique philosophy of Deer Canyon Preserve together with reasonable building restrictions and access to the entire Preserve makes Deer Canyon the perfect choice for an active outdoor lifestyle. This is one of the many amenities that attracted us to Deer Canyon Preserve.

Other amenities include:

Preservation: A full 90 percent of Deer Canyon Preserve’s land will remain protected and undeveloped for the benefit of all residents
Equestrian Center: Will include a comfortable lounge area, a tack room and a handful of day stalls for horses. It’s also a great starting place for horseback adventures, including exploring Goat Canyon
Hiking trails: Enjoy miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding or discovering ancient ruins.
Underground utilities: To ensure unobstructed views, all utilities are installed below ground
Fresh Water: Deer Canyon guarantees a source of fresh water for every homestead at the Preserve
